Money being saved. Plans being put into order. I’m leaving New York City again on January 1, 2012 and will be travelling once again. This time I hope to make it to the Pacific Northwest, and document my adventures in much bigger ways then before.

I’m travelling light, with basically my laptop, a digital camera and some clothes. I’ll be crashing with friends and eating lots of peanut butter and banana sandwiches.

If you’d like to contribute to my new adventures, ‘Life’s Not Soda Pressing,’ that’d be amazing.

NEW: Subscribe to ‘Life’s Not Soda Pressing,’ my new subscriber-only email list. More stories, more photos and even robot drawings. I’ll also mail the list (yes, actual mail) random photo prints and trinkets from the road.

Download my ‘Florida to Maine by Bike and Train’ ebook. It’s all about my adventure from Miami, FL to Portland, ME - 12 cities in 14 days.

Download my ‘Seven Months’ ebook. This is about my first seven months on the road. I sold over 200 copies of this.

And where did the title ‘Life’s Not Soda Pressing’ come from? Well, when I worked in a grocery store many years ago, a fellow worker, an older lady, was telling me some tragic story. Something bad that happened. I remember saying to her, “that’s so depressing,” and at that exact second I also looked at a stack of bottled soda.

At the time, I was also writing music, and I penned the song, ‘Life’s Not Soda Pressing.’ This is like, 1997 or 1998. Way back.

So really, life isn’t so depressing. Soda pressing. Get it?

And if you want a laugh, here’s a recording of the song, ‘Soda Pressing 2000.’
