Stoked my evenings are filled with drawing.
My existing line of Seth W. Robots came to life in darkness and dust. Given the choice between basic survival or the latest technologies, my robotic design leaned toward analog circuits and vacuum tubes.
My robotic creations are built without engineering degrees nor (ahem) state-approved power sources.
In the recent years that I began building Seth W. Robots I’ve seen an industrial complex implode and combust on daily cycle. These “media outlets” flood your subconscience mind, whetting your lust for technologies that neither advance mankind or seek to better the lives of those that it touches.
But, friend, I’ve seen the future, and it’s in front of your face. The future is waiting for you to be still and appreciate the moment as it being the most amazing piece of time that you will ever bear witness.
The future doesn’t need LTE, retina displays, or bigger harddrives.
The future just needs you. All of you.
A collection of my “robot newscasters,” filled with shards of wisdom or staring in eerie silence. They’re based on the creatures from ‘They Live,’ if the creatures were actually robots instead of creatures.
These are limited to 20 copies, and I’m hand numbering them all. Each ships with a Seth W. Robot print, too. A dollar ($1.00) from every purchase will be given to METAL MEOWLISHA, the cat rescue run by Obituary’s Donald Tardy and his wife Heather.
Available now in the Seth W. Robot Shop.
Seth W. Robots are drawn in coffee shops in strange cities. They’re drawn in between conversations with rad friends and curious strangers. I draw them when waiting for buses, and I draw them on trains when I can afford an Amtrak ticket.

I carry all this to do what I do.
View in High-ResAbove are my materials for creating Seth W. Robots. The only desk I have is that of my friends, or a coffee shop in whatever town, or the creaky plastic chair in a bus station. In a months time I’ve scraped an income from paper, Sharpie’s, and stamps.
This morning I sent a text message that said, “I just uploaded new photos to Etsy.” My robots have been photographed and organized. I’ve got my PayPal account dusted off and ready to roll. I’m even sending off my first order this afternoon, which is a nice feeling.
Thanks, everyone, for “LIKING” my robots over the past year and a half. You were an inspiration in this: Seth W. Robots on Etsy.

Seth W. Robot Art. I’ve been working on these for the past few years, just casually drawing them and posting them on Twitter or Instagram on occasion. The response has been great, which has led me to pursue it a bit more.
Today I needed to create something, and I did. I had a small collection of my robots drawn, just sitting around, and they needed to be put to some good use. Making a zine is something I haven’t done since my high school days, but I enjoyed it. I want to get better at it. This was a learning process for sure.
There are 11 robots in total, drawn during my time on the road over the past year. Two different cover designs. I have 12 copies for anyone who would like one. Simply email me (sethw@sethwismyname.com) your mailing address and I’ll send you one.
